Attendance Policy
Students are expected to attend all sessions of courses for which they are enrolled. Instructors will provide policies concerning course attendance and the ability to make up missed work on their course syllabi or in program handbooks.
Financial Aid Policies
In compliance with federal and state regulation, Southeast Technical College requires all students to maintain satisfactory academic progress toward the completion of a degree, diploma or certificate in order to receive financial aid.
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Your student records and information are protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Inclement Weather Process
When closing campus buildings due to inclement weather is necessary, all campus operations, including instruction, student support and administration, will move to a virtual setting with employees working from home. Only essential personnel will report to campus. Students should check their email for instructions from Faculty.
Non-Discrimination Policy
Southeast Tech prohibits discrimination in its policies, employment practices, programs and activities on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, age, gender (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, disability, national origin or ancestry, military/veteran status, genetic information or any other category protected by law.
Refund Policy
Refund eligibility is determined by three dates: class start date, class end date and the date a student formally drops or withdraws from a class.
